This argument of fashion dictating style or vice-versa is a very confusing territory. To be honest, it’s one that requires more words than this post demands. But what’s amazing about it is, everyone interprets it on a personal level.
On looking at this image from Madrid Fashion Week, you notice the on-trend vibrant accessorising more than the actual outfit. Much like, the former is playing the lead role. African tribal jewellery, colour-blocked wedge heels, a riot of colours on the head scarf and an orange leather belt, everything is cleverly colour-coordinated, without the said intention. The burst of candy pink lips and nails work as a roadmap to her outfit.
